Health & Safety Protocols For Covid-19
The following procedures are in place to minimize the risk of Covid-19:
Staff members must wash their hands frequently, with soap and water for at least 20 seconds following WorkSafeBC guidelines. Hand sanitizer is available to supplement hand washing and should be used when necessary.
Staff members must not come to work if they are sick, or have any of the following symptoms:
Fever, chills, new or worsening cough, shortness of breath, new muscle aches, headache or sore throat.
Frequently touched surfaces such as counters, cutting tables, door handles and railings must be cleaned throughout the day. Lunchroom surfaces must be cleaned after each set of breaks.
Sharing of tools such as scissors, pens etc should be minimized. Shared tools must be sanitized between use.
PIN pads will be cleaned after customer contact, contactless payment is encouraged.
Customers are required to wear a mask covering their nose and mouth at all times while inside the store. Children 2 years and under are exempt. Occupancy is limited to 50 people, staff and customers combined.
Please remain at least 2 metres (6 feet) from staff and other customers inside the store.
Please limit contact with merchandise and only touch merchandise you intend to purchase.
Please follow the one way arrows marked on the floor as you move about the store. We have placed markers on the floor at each cutting table for customers to stand on while materials are measured and cut. Please place your items on the cutting tables and step back to the marker while a staff member assists you.
The Lower Floor cashier has been removed, please bring all items to the register on the Main Floor. We have placed markers on the floor to indicate where to stand while we are assisting you.
The cashier and some cutting tables have plexiglass barriers, please remain behind those barriers while we are assisting you.
Exchanges and returns will not be accepted until further notice.
Our public washroom will no longer be available.
